Systems Integration 2010 conference (SI’2010) organizers – the Czech Society for Systems Integration (CSSI) and the Department of Information Technologies at the University of Economics, Prague in cooperation with CACIO, ISACA, itSMF, ICT UNION and SSSI invite your active participation in the preparations of 18th International Conference on Systems Integration with theme “The role of ICT in improving international competitiveness”. The conference is held under the auspices of the prime minister of the Czech Republic, Jan Fischer.
The present economic crisis and its impact on the national budget and all areas of business activity represent a serious challenge for the management of companies and government institutions. The ICT industry is not immune from crises and economic slowdowns, but tends to recover quickly when compared to other sectors of the economy and resume rapid growth. Can other industries and the public sector respond to adverse economic circumstances with equal flexibility? Can the ICT industry be a model for other industries in times of economic crises? Can ICT improve the competitiveness of the Czech Republic in the global economy?
The aim of the SI'2010 conference is to assist management of private and government organizations to improve their competitiveness during periods of dynamic change by effective use of ICT. SI'2010 conference is organized into broad thematic tracks, each with a range of topics to allow the examination of individual issues from management, business, and technology perspectives. Specific solutions tailored to individual industry sectors and company sizes will be examined.
Three different types of activities will take place at the conference: 1) paper presentations 2) workshops and 3) case studies (see Conference Tracks).
